Startled by a scene from somewhere within
          Confused
                    A memory
                              A movie
          Remnants of a tragic story book
                    Drawings in my head

Characters fading from strangers, emerging as those familiar
          I struggle to capture it again

It is a cloud I can see, reach for but never quite grasp
          So real
                    So piercing
                              Ever changing
          Already forgotten

All I can think about is what I am feeling
          Or all I am feeling is a manifestation of my thoughts

Memories invade my dreams
                    Blurring into fantasy
                              Altering my reality
          I have lost my boundaries

My greatest concern is that I made it all up…
          My deepest fear is that I did not…
