Lonely -- a pain burning in my core
Mowing through my inners as if it were alive
My body aches to be held
My desire for physical comfort overwhelms me.
My only warmth is the well worn path of tears on my cheeks…

My emotional charge brings to surface the hidden pains of
Anyone who tries to reach me…
You have broken the rules, I am subject to the guilt of pressing
          You when you are stressed
                    The price of caring…

Blood runs from the wounds you will never find
The threat is obvious but you ignore it
The power is within, only I can hear them laughing
          Twisted pictures distort the truth
Common occurrences bring danger and pain
You are lost and I am pleased
Like a chameleon I will change colors to match the background
          You will never find me
I will die pleading for you to look.
