CHRIST Does he or she profess Jesus Christ of Nazareth as their personal savior, from sin, death and hell. Does he/she believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation and reconciliation with God; having been seperated from God by sin which was domonstrated in a life of selfishness and independence from God and His word and deserving of death. But God sent His only Son to save us from eternal death, if we only believe and receive.
Or, do they believe that Christianity is only one way to God that the absoluteness of the belief, Jesus speaking, "...no one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 6:14b)" is intolerant and ‘Anyway a loving God would not send anyone to hell, if there is such a place.’
Do they recognize that there is only ONE TRUE GOD, JEHOVAH, and JESUS CHRIST is His only begotten Son, the one and only Savior and Way to God’s peace and presence? Does their life reveal that belief in what they say and do? In other words, have they repented (stopped sinning) and turned to follow Jesus? If they are truly a Christian, they should be eager to share their salvation story, and their life will demonstrate that Jesus Christ is in their life.
